"Daa" with a head swivel and roll

What do you say to a 4 year old that learned the word "Daa"? Not only that word but also with a head swivel and a roll. Most everyone knows about me that I don't really tolerate bad hurtful words in my house especially not by my child. I believe in respect for elders but also with us treating the kids with respect and giving them choices. So tonite I go pick Peyton up from my aunt and uncles and I get the "Daa". Not only just 1 Daa but several in an attempt to close me down from talking. Then I really start to get irritated. I am sure he picked this up from school. So we had a talk about not using words that hurt people or make them sad. He said but it doesn't make me sad. Ok well. Good point but still we don't use that word. So on our drive home we talked about how some kids say those words but maybe they shouldn't and Peyton doesn't because Momma and Daddy don't like it.

It is amazing how their language just blossoms. They did have a clown parade at school today and I was so proud of him because he let them paint his face. WoooHoooo!!!Peyton has always had a phobia of this along with glue, lighting bugs, and loud noises. He hates weird things on his skin including tags etc. So I am so proud of him today for letting them do that to his face. That is a brave step.
