"Hart to Hart"

On CHBM this week the Carnival topic of the week is " What was your favorite t.v. show when you were a kid?" My favorite tv show when I was a kid had to be "Hart to Hart". I watched that show every week. It was an entertainer glossy thriller. Still to this day I love thriller movies and books. I just find it very interesting that I liked this show as a young kid. Stephanie Powers and Robert Wagner were my fascination. When I watched this show I was not thinking about anything but the show and the plot. I loved how they had all these rich friends that came in for a show or two then suddenly disappeared in a ditch or ran over by a car. I guess I dreamed of that fairy tale land where we all grow up and drive fancy cars and have rich friends. How unrealistic is that and would I even want that ?

I also loved "Love Boat" and "Fantasy Island". It is so interesting to me that I watched prime time tv shows. I know don't think I would let Peyton watch to many prime time tv shows. They have sexual innuendos, actual sex scenes, and racy comments. Even the commercials in between the shows have very enticing ads. It is amazing to me how the world has changed. I nowadays watch "Brothers and Sister", "What about Brian?", and "One tree Hill". I think it is hard for me to get into certain shows nowadays but thanks to Tivo I can.
