Medicine cookies

Today I had a delivery from the sweet girl scout. She was delivering my sweet oh sweet girl scout cookies. See when I ordered these cookies I was not on my low sodium diet. But anyway girl scout cookies are not that high in sodium if you eat them in portion control sizes....HA Ha. Pretty funny right. Well I was so excited to see them. I was tired and hungry. So I opened up a box of those little yummy sinful treats Thin mints. I said Peyton you want one. He said " I don't want any of those medicine cookies. Mom, why do you eat medicine cookies. They aren't healthy for you?" Oh so right you are son. Only at 4 years old can you know that Thin mints are bad for you. I thought about it. Yes, Peyton you are right they are bad for you, not healthy at all. But they are oh so tempting and minty delicious. Oh what to do....I put some in the freezer to hide them from myself. Sad isn't it.

The have one more story to tell you. Yesterday when I was getting ready to go to work last nite. Peyton says as I am in the shower. There is just something I don't want you to know. I said "ok what don't you want me to know ? " So I go into the living room and the bowl of popcorn is spilled on the floor. I say oh well. We will just have to clean it up. Then I am on my way out the door to work and he says " I just don't want you to know Dad and me are going to wrestle while you are gone...love ya"

That is why I love that kid. He is so cute and sweet. He can't even tell a lie. He has to tell me.

It is supposed to be warming up here this week. I think 50's by the end of the week. The snow from the blizzard is melting fast. Happy 4th birthday to my nephew Tyson !! Also Happy 8th Birthday to Carlea!! Hope everyone is doing well!!
